A close friend recently informed that my writing was interesting and that it has a certain "poetic" quality to it. While recovering from my enlarged cranium that was most certainly caused by unwarranted flattery, I decided to clean out the cobwebs and, once again, claim this small part of the internet as my own. I hope that this renewed sense of purpose will stay for some time.
A considerable amount of successes, disappointments, and memories have been made and cherished since my last post, so I will not bore anyone with the details. I will however comment on my life at present.
Currently, I am writing this within the confines of a camper that is precariously placed within striking distance of sun-sizzling old people and children that are covered in sand and sun-tanning lotion. Yes people, I am at the beach. I am vacationing with my family, but I'm kinda bored. For some reason, few people my age come to camp grounds that are family oriented. I'm not yet sure why, but I have come up with an addendum to the following adage found in The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde: "When one is in the country, one amuses others\ When one is the city, one amuses oneself" I would like to add that when one is at the beach, one amuses one's relatives.
To be continued...
